My brother and I are going NE towards Quincy Ca. About a 4 hr ride, w/o stops, to a nice Hotel. Eat some good food and refreshments, can't leave out the refreshments, spend the night. Then do a different loop and ride back another 4 hrs w/o stopping. Temps are up there, 80's to the 90's.

Should be a good road trip.

There are some very nice roads in that area, 49 to the Gold Lake Rd at Bassetts Station, then on to 89 has great views. Take a fishing rod if you can.

Well we had a great ride, 481 miles round trip. Stayed at the Chalet View Lodge. Beautiful place and great accommodations. The ride back was hotter and not as many scenic shots.
