He finally gave up and moved on and life is much better without him around.

Nice… Do you know if he got to keep his badge so that he can flash it as a “Get Out Of Jail Free” card when he gets pulled over for speeding??

That's never a guarantee.....but yes, yes he did. If he's smart, he won't be speeding, I mean, what's the rush?

Nice today, after a very wet Wednesday. I was gone for 9 1/2 hours. I went up into Wisconsin, via the Galena area. I crossed the Wisconsin River in Boscobel, then headed back home, indirectly of course....lol. 409 miles.

Feeling jealous! Hope to get some long rides in the next couple of weeks before our "Tail" ride May 21st.

The good news, tomorrow is supposed to be 83 and sunny. The bad news, winds are supposed to be 24 mph. Odds are winds will be 60 mph for me....lol.

Enjoy the day… I have to pack up tomorrow… And I’m heading up to Cranbrook to work for a week… When I get home, I’m going to start to ride more often…

Had a great ride today. Rode along the Mississippi River, both sides, for quite a bit today. Finally back in a tank top. No long johns either!! Stopped at a HD dealership open house, watched a tug push some barges through a lock at dam 13. Got home in time to take the wife to dinner....not on the bike. Oh, it was in the mid 80's today. Winds were pretty strong, above 20 mph. It didn't bother me one bit.

I surpassed 111111 miles today....next milestone 123456 miles.

Got in a little afternoon wind therapy today. It hit the mid 50's and was sunny, but the winds were, once again, above 20mph, out of the west....which gave me a side wind for at least half the ride. The heavy winds could go away, any day now. I went down along the Illinois River. I got in 170 miles. Had it been either a bit warmer or a bit less windy, I probably would have gotten another 100 miles. The 50's felt a whole lot colder after having 80 just the other day.

All those ones remind me of a little Three Dog Night.
