That is bcs u r supposed to pay for your road side meals. Rather than skip out on the bill as you notoriously do. You are tired of the waitress chasing you. Esp the ugly ones. <-- Still cute.

Can't catch me. Peeeeeooooooowwwwww...........

Vance & Hines hasn't really been much help. Kind of took me in a circle. I guess I'll head to the hardware store and try to find something to plug the O2 sensor hole.

Try this. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...o2-sensor-plug
You'll need to measure and see if you need a 12mm or 18mm.

Had a dentist appointment this morning, followed by a funeral, and then the wife had a doctor appointment. By the time that was all over with I had a decision to make, work or ride.

Well duh.....

Took advantage of the nice day and hopped on the Limited.

Decided to stop in at Workman HD and see if any American Elites had arrived. They did! I asked when they could get me in. They asked when would you like to get it done? I said now. A few minutes later the bike was on the lift, getting a new AE.

They were out of stock on AE fronts, when I got a new rear AE. Thankfully fronts last a bit longer, but its time had come. Nothing like new rubber.

Waiting area.

This is cool.

I'd like to have this.

And this.....but wow, what a price tag. 37grand.

Ventured home, the long way, then picked up the wife, for Wednesday night date night.

Its her birthday week. She turned 55 yesterday.

Dinner was really good.

Not a bad day. Not sure there'll be many more sunny 80 degree days this year.

I used to hit their buffets occasionally on the road.

Long ride today, hit Manistee about 8:30, fast food joints were either closed or drive through only. Maybe Legs Inn tomorrow, RON in Indian River if I can hold out. Today was my longest in the saddle without a stop, 4:45.

What an awesome first day of October. Started out in the upper 60's and hit the upper 80's. I took off just before 9am, and was gone a good 9 hours. I wandered around the driftless area of Wisconsin. I made my way up and over to the Mississippi River, and when I got there I was 20 miles north of Prairie du Chien. I headed south from there, then zigzagged my way home.

Started off with a long sleeve shirt on.

Took a break in Sauk City.

Took another break in Hollandale. Got fuel both times.

I'd say the new front tire is scrubbed in now.

I took my DSLR with me, so I have more pics coming.

Some pics from yesterday's ride.

Unfortunately, it's raining today...well, storming actually, and it's supposed to do the same tomorrow.

I feel pretty lucky to be able to ride as much as I do, and hold down a fulltime job. I think I'll probably ride less, once I retire.

Fall is creeping in, especially up in northern Wisconsin. I don't mind fall, as the bike runs better in the cool weather.
