I ate at my first Freddy's last night. It was right next to the hotel.it was good.
This on the other hand was great! I was so full.
I woke up at 6am, andcwas on the road, just before 7am.
I stopped for a nutritionist breakfast an hour or so later.
I was riding 30 through Caroll Iowa, and low and behold there was a dealership. I grabbed a Dr Pepper and a t-shirt.
**** stop.
Another **** stop.....theres not really any rear suspension on this thing, so.
A mural along the Lincoln Hiway..
Highest mileage day of the 4. I made it home at about 4:40pm. Funny thing, Google Maps said my ride today would be 477 miles....i guess stopping for gas added the mile.
It was an awesome 4 days. I think my head is in a better place now. I'm also very happy to have gotten that pic, on my dads bike, under the Colorado sign.
sigil probably take a day a ride or two between now and Monday.
Jeff, you are killing me with you posts. Keep'um coming mate!

Last day of vacation was yesterday. After returning from Colorado I didn't get on a bike again until yesterday. It was a nice day yesterday, 87 degrees, sunny, light winds, and the humidity wasn't extreme either. The wife wasn't really excited about going on a ride, so I told her to stay home. I cruised over to Mount Carroll, IL and headed up 78 to Mounty Horeb, WI. From there I took backroads home. It was a nice little ride. One last day of clearing by head, before returning to the job.
On the plus side, Friday Rideday isn't all that far away! That is if I actually go for a ride. I've been slacking on Friday Rideday's this year, not really sure why.

Sucks to be me... I had to take the truck up to the office last week, and have to again next week... that is a couple thousand miles of non-motorcycling... I don't think I have put 1,000 miles on her this year so far... I am looking at taking two weeks in Sept and doing a counter-clockwise ride up to Cranbrook, then up to Jasper through the Parks, and West to Prince Rupert and a boat trip home... bunch of family lives on that route... but we will see.

I haven't put on nearly as many miles this year, as I usually do. I bet I'm a good 5000 miles behind my average. Here it is Friday, and I'm not riding. It looks as if it could rain, so I'm not going to venture out and risk it.....especially since I don't have any place to go....lol. The first 100 miles of riding I do is always something I've rode a few hundred times. There's a chance of rain all weekend, so I'm not sure I'll get any Harley miles, but hey, there's always my Jeep.

A buddy and headed out on a Friday Rideday, on Friday the 13th! Nothing scarey happened. We wandered around Wisconsin, climbed 293 stairs, ate lunch at A&W and all in all, had a great time.
It felt like a Night Rod kind of day. It was only 68 degrees, but I went with the tank top just the same.
293 steps.....I think.
We didn't die!
View from the top was pretty good.
It was about an 8 hour day, so not too bad, mileage wise. The day was beautiful.

Sunday was another beautiful day. The wife and I headed out to Wollersheim Winery, in Sauk City, WI. She wanted wine, I wanted to ride, so it was a win, win.
Ready to roll.
They have a distillery too. I don't drink, so I don't care...lol.
Its nice when a concrete pad is provided for bikes.
This is the distillery.
This is the winery.
The guy who owns the place, rides around the property on this.
Weezy's, in Byron, is a favorite of ours.
A dinner selfie.
Sunday's mileage was almost the same as Friday's mileage.....what are the odds?

Today's weather was awesome. I took off for a ride at noon, ended up over in Iowa, west of Dubuque, at 3pm, where I took a break, fueled up and headed back home.
I did ride some new to me roads as well.
The Limited surpassed 104,000 miles today.
Another month of warm weather riding, before the cool winds of fall come a calling.
