Headed out at 9am this morning.

**** stop.

Weather looked good, most of the day.

I 2 laned it all day.

It was a nice stress free day.

Casey's pizza was lunch.

KFC was dinner. I really know how to live it up.

After 9 hours and 400 miles, and storm clouds on the horizon I called it a day, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Nebraska can wait until tomorrow.

Sunny, clear and 67 degrees this morning. Looks like a good day for riding. Let's hope it stays that way. Off to Ogallala, NE, here shortly.

The day stared out sunny.

An hour or so later, clouds rolled in, then a few rain drops fell. On went the rain suit.....which did a great jump of stopping the rain from falling.

Things eventually cleared up.

Hwy 92 is awesome.

I did pick up a hitchhiker for a bit.

A long and lonesome highway, west of Ohmaha......

I've been to Ogallala Nebraska many times, and never knew this huge lake was 10 miles north of town.

Its gigantic.

Its so big it pisses out a smaller lake.

I went back for a second look, after dinner.

Another 400 mile day.

I headed out early this morning. My goal? To get to the Colorado border, to get a pic under the sign, on my dad's bike. Ive been want3to do this since he gave it to me. I remember seeing a pice of my dad under that sign, on his chopper, ages ago, so this was a tribute of sorts.

Got the pic! After this i headed to Sterling, CO and grabbed an Egg McMuffin. I started thinking about the morning traffic report, construction uodaye, and the weather forecast for Tuesday. I canceled my room in Georgetown and headed east. Just like Forrest Gump i said, I fhink I'll go home now.

On Hwy 30, enteting Nebraska.

30 sucks, compared to 92. I wont ride 30 again. But i dont like riding the same road home, so it is what it is.

I found me a nice hotel in Columbus NE.

I figured this was enough miles for today. Tomorrow will be further, as home is 450 some miles away.

I ate at my first Freddy's last night. It was right next to the hotel.it was good.

This on the other hand was great! I was so full.

I woke up at 6am, andcwas on the road, just before 7am.

I stopped for a nutritionist breakfast an hour or so later.

I was riding 30 through Caroll Iowa, and low and behold there was a dealership. I grabbed a Dr Pepper and a t-shirt.

**** stop.

Another **** stop.....theres not really any rear suspension on this thing, so.

A mural along the Lincoln Hiway..

Highest mileage day of the 4. I made it home at about 4:40pm. Funny thing, Google Maps said my ride today would be 477 miles....i guess stopping for gas added the mile.

It was an awesome 4 days. I think my head is in a better place now. I'm also very happy to have gotten that pic, on my dads bike, under the Colorado sign.

sigil probably take a day a ride or two between now and Monday.

I have good memories of the Lincoln Highway and Highway 92 when I was heading back to the mountains from Chicago in ‘017…
