Lots of chances for rain today, but I found an opening and headed out on the V-Rod.

I tried south, but it appeared there were storms that way, so I turned north. But I came across a car vs suv accident, that just happened, so I stopped to help. Nobody hurt, despite the suv rolling over. Airbags for the win.

The sky darkened while I was at the scene, so I headed for home. It rained a short time later, but not for very long.

I fired up the grill, cooked some burgers and dogs, then.....

It was time for a few sunset miles, along the Rock River. No rain. No wrecks.

1038 miles over the last 4 days.

Yesterday after dinner I headed out for some much needed therapy. Much to my surprise one of my twins asked to come along. We had a blast.

Today was an awesome, full day of riding. I hit the Driftless Region of Wisconsin.

I have more pics on my DSLR.

I was gone for 11 hours today. Perfect day.

Lots of riding lately, and a bit more to come, since I'm currently on vacation. I didn't risk a trip anywhere, as I didn't really have an idea as to where to go, and I didn't really want to get caught out with no place to eat or stay. My week off also popped up suddenly, I just needed a mental break.

Sorry, no pics uploaded, but there are plenty in my web link.

Heading out Thursday or Friday on my 3/4 week loop of BC & Alberta... looks like the Canada/US border is going to be closed for the year… This might be the one big trip I get

Stay safe, have fun, and I'll be looking for updates.

I might try to get down to the Tail of the Dragon, before the riding season is over.

I took the day off and went for a ride with a couple of guys from work and a local firefighter / EMT, along with their ladies.

Lunch was in Bellevue, IA.

Our steel horses.

All of us, minus my wife, who couldn't get the day off.

The mighty Mississippi.

Galena, IL.

A good day of riding, and BS-ing. We left at 10am and returned at 7:30pm.
