Nice! Just commuting last 2 weeks, nothing worth taking pictures of but getting 44-60 miles in a day. Still hitting 100° in the afternoons but mornings are about 70° now. HOV has been wonderful!!!

Sunny Sundays… and I only head downtown for coffee… that seems to be the extent of my motorcycling now…

Friday Rideday!

Color check on the Rock River.

First time I've been stopped by a train here.

Beautiful day.

Made it to Savanna.

Two trains going by, along the Mississippi.

Crossing over the Mississippi River, into Iowa.

Glamor shot.

It was a great day.

Tomorrow the bikes will be filled with fuel and put away, with no real thought of getting them out again in 2023. I don't even want to see how many, or few, miles I rode this year, compared to years past.

i got one ride in … 500 miles up & back to Cranbrook , & a week of riding her every day as my around town transport… if my eldest daughter comes up to Langley next summer as planned I will get a two or three week tour… if so, I would head down to California on the PCH and then back home through Arizona/Colorado/Wyoming/Montana… I have mapped that out and it would take me about 21 days to do the rounder…

First up today, the Night Rod. It was a 5 mile round trip.

554 miles on it this year.

Next up, the Ultra. I figured why not take it for a nice roe, i mean, it was 50 and sunny.

16 miles later the horn fell off the bracket. This is why zipties are always on board. I turned around and went home. 38 miles was a bit less than i was hoping for.

9,750 miles on the Ultra, so far, this season, which may or may not be over. Cold weather is in our forecast. Like 32° for a high cold. Oh well, I have my guitars.

Speaking of guitars, here's my newest one, which arrived Friday. This is my first Gibson Les Paul, a Tribute. I really like it.

Riding season is over. They've been spreading deicer crap on the roads, so even if it warms up I won't becriding until after the spring rains wash off the roads.

Until then.....

This is my therapy.
