Rode to Waterford Wisconsin today, to wrench on my Jeep.


The tear down is complete.


Headed home at 5:30pm...sun os was setting before i got home.


Nice ride.

 

Took a 3:15pm ride to Iowa yesterday. Hit up the Palisades on the way back.

 

Very nice, Jeff… you got all 10 zones… a good B&W conversion candidate…

 

Nice! May finally be under 100 tomorrow & gas is back to $5 for regular!!! Looking forward to getting some miles in!!!

 

Headed to Wisconsin, early this morning to work on my Jeep again.

Lots of grinding / rust removal today...topside. Next week will be the bottom side.


Took a detour on the way home.


42 extra miles, but the sunset ride down the Rock River was awesome.


I may just hit 10,000 ride miles this year.......such a slacker.

 

… 20,000 in both 2016 and 2017… close to 100,000 miles in the last 10 years… I doubt I will hit 2,000 this year … I suck… 😂

 

This has been a weird ride year for me, especially compared to the last 7, for sure. I did add learning guitar to my list of hobbies, so I'll blame diversification, lol.

On a side note I got gas last night and it was $4.99 a gallon (93 octane) which is the highest I've seen in awhile. I wasn't even on the interstate or a big city.

 

There was a chance of rain.


It looked nice enough, so i took the Night Rod for a spin.


No rain clouds.....yet.


When i got over near the Rock River it appeared to be raining on the other side, so i figured it was best to go back home. Looked like rain was on the way.....until I put the bike away. On the plus side, the bike ran great. Maybevthe Seafoam cleared up the sputtering issue.

 

Last Sunday was another trip to Wisconsin.....


.....to work on my Jeep.


The ride home, on back roads, as the sun set, was very nice.
