After a couple of weeks off the bike, it was time to take a ride.

Nice clear day. Its been awhile since we've had blue sky....thanks to Canada.

It was just a perfect day.

Only 3 hours of ride time, but tomorrow may bring more.

Talked myself into going for a ride today.

Rode over to the Mississippi River and crossed over to Iowa for a bit. It was a good day.

Nice ride.

We rode up to Moline to the John Deere Pavillion. Then we crossed the river into Iowa and rode North on Scenic 67 to Clinton before heading back into Illinois. The little town of Le Clair is nice. I enjoyed the Lilly pads along the river.

I love riding along both sides of the Mississippi River. The Iowa side, all the way up to Minnesota is a fun ride. Le Clair is pretty cool. Did you stop at Antique Archeology, AKA: American Pickers? I was at lock and dam 13 yesterday, and the lily pads had really taken over.

No riding is a good idea. I rode yesterday 93 and heavy humidity Why? That's what I was asking myself a few hours into it. .

Picked her up, got maybe 50 miles in today. Heading out with some friends here in Western PA for a nice ride tomorrow. Impressed with the pickup, really gets rolling at higher rpms, gonna be a good day!! Hasn't been super hot or humid so far.
