Hey all,

3 of us are planning a quick ride to Vegas from Montreal and a longer ride back.

I know theres a ton of threads on some great rides, Ive read up on several of them. We're being ambitious and plan on riding to vegas in 5 days, but will take our time on the way back.

I did SFO to Montreal a couple years back, zig zagged it (vegas, sturgis) back.

I absolutely loved UT9/UT12 and the san juan pass (us550?) in Colorado.

What are some recommendations? Open to all routes, We will be doing the zion/bryce/escalante run through Utah, just not sure if it will be on the way there or back.....guess itll depend on the overall route

any help and suggestions would be appreciated, thanks guys

 

i would suggest pick up a national park pass and hit as many as you can

 

Here you go....upstate NY is nice, Arizona is nice, grand canyon...Sedona...then hit utah/colorado when you have more time coming back...

well, if we stick to interstates, MTL to Chicago is about 13 hrs.....but who wants to do that

we figure we'll ride 10-12 hrs/day on the way there, sounds like a lot maybe, but we've done it in the past, if you leave early and behave at night its really not bad
