import gpx to Harley Ride Planner
#2
I forgot off the top of my head but allow me to assure you it can be done.
It is something like take your GPX file on a jump drive or your computer and then in the upper right corner of the ride planner, I forgot what it was you click on but you can import or export a file. That is where you import.
I do not think it is very helpful but I do want to assure you it can be done.
I am sure someone will respond to you pretty swiftly with the exact directions. If not, contact me in the private area (PM) and I will go look up exactly how to do it and then let you know how.
I am just not able to do it right now I know it can be done though.

Once logged in - choose GPS Sync - manual mode - on the right side of that panel, choose the file name - click import .GPX file and if the file is a correct .gpx file it should import it.
I haven't played with it to make sure. My Garmin exports as .gps and I haven't done any conversions or anything.

Plug in your USB with the routes. From the Navigation menu, select Import. It will list all the routes on the USB. Select which routes to import, then select the IMPORT button. Select OK when its done.
If you're not aware, if your routes contain multiple points, stops, etc, it will file them as individual routes in the GPS. In other words, each pair of locations is a separate trip. So one trip is from point A to point B, the next trip is point B to point C and so on. The nav system does not differentiate between locations and waypoints....they are all individual destinations. Have fun....

Thanks Aviator5456, that is working. I'm trying to get routes imported to the HD ride planner software. There used to be a manual option, but it appears it's gone. Have a ton of routes from my Garmin that I've converted the files to GPX but now they appear useless as I can't get them into the HD Ride Planner.

Best I can tell, the import option has now been removed. In the upper right I just see export and no longer any way to import. Is anyone else having the same thing?
We always liked to create our group rides in another tool (like Basecamp) and then send import them to HD Ride Planner to double check them for folks using the HD GPS. Then send them out to the club via the HD tool. That seems to no longer be something possible to do.
Unless someone knows of another way to import the files?
