Leaving tomm with 3 friends. Spending a week on the trip. Taking turns picking and leading roads when down south. Taking 3-4 days down on the SLD and BRP.

I just got back yesterday from that area ,nice cool mornings and warm days. There were a ton of old cars and bikes because of car shows in Maggie valley,Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. I live 3 1/2 hours from Maggie and really enjoy riding in that area as there is not a bad road in the area..

 

Headed out tmro morning from PA to ride the BRP, Dragon, Cherohala, etc. Plan to spend about a week in total. Will post pics as well.

 

We rode SLD, BRP, and Cherahola in June. Nothing but beautiful roads and great scenery. Remember, no gas on the BRP so plan accordingly.

Watch out for deer.

 

Just got back from a 6 day, 1900 mile ride down the SLD, BRP, Dragon, Cherohala etc. Fortunately, we had great weather for the run and I'll post photos and commentary once I've had a chance to recover. It is definitely a "bucket list" ride and I'm fortunate to have enjoyed the experience.
