I drove up to Cranbrook from Langley yesterday via Kamloops & Golden… I’ll be here for a couple of weeks doing some work… It was snowing and greasy on the Coquahalla… But then it turned into sunshine for most of the day… It was a beautiful drive south of Golden down to Cranbrook in the Rocky Mountain Trench with the Purcells on the West and the Rockies on the east side… Even though it’s about a half hour longer drive than Highway 3 it is much easier because the roads are straighter and cruise control can be used most of the way…

Gorgeous country Rocky. My son and his family live in Radium Hot Springs. Surrounded by mountains in paradise.

I'll be heading there in September for a huge car show; it had become an annual trip until Covid cancelled it the last two years.

Close to 1,000 cars of all descriptions take over the driving range of a golf course, it's quite a sight to see.

The plan was to stay in Langley for a little bit and then shoot back up to Cranbrook in a while to finish up a project I’m working on and get my new wheels… But, I am heading back up tomorrow, so I can get the work done up there and get my *** back to Langley as quick as I can… My best little buddy has cancer and I need to be close to home for the spring… The doctors say he only has a few months left…

... thanks Bill...

I was planing on a nice motorcycle ride this summer... but i wont be going anywhere any time soon... I need to be here for the puppy, and then for my daughter after he is gone... when I get back to Vancouver in a few weeks, if he is still healthy enough to go somewhere, I am going to take the three of them, Adrienne, Atlas and Max to Victoria and spend several days in the Empress... we all need a holiday...

So sorry to hear about your little buddy. I hope he's stubborn and sticks around longer than the vet is saying.
