I won't ban you from my friend list , that Vintage looks pretty damn nice . I'd buy the Pan in a split second if I could , at least I got to stand next to it when I was there , hopefully the new owner ( Maybe ) cares for it as much as you do

In a couple of weekends I’m going to be renting a car and driving up to Cranbrook… I’ll pick up my ElectraGlide and riding for the weekend up there… And then spend a couple of days coming home back to Langley via the West Kootenays with an overnight stay in Revelstoke…

I don’t think the Border is going to open this year until very late… So my touring will probably be riding from Langley to Cranbrook once a month to spend a weekend at work… Robin is going to do a full tuneup on Darla just before I get there, so it should be good to go for the summer… If I can get 10,000 miles in this year I’ll be happier than a pig in poop…

On Sunday, which was Mother’s Day… I took Adrienne across the street to her mothers garden plot… Met some friends of hers, put some flowers down… And then I went and picked up supper from Adrienne and her mothers favourite restaurant and we had a nice Sunday meal…

I talked Adrienne into keeping the plot… Her mother had a lot of friends who worked in the garden area with her, and they are going to maintain it… they planted a special bush for her in the general area…

Speaking of Indians ... I've always lusted for a Chief Vintage. I don't know when the Springfield model came out, but it's very similar other than an aluminum frame and hard bags. The Springfield is said to handle better.

small change of plans... for personal and business reasons, I wont be heading up to pick up the Eglide until mid June now... on another note, my right wrist seems to be a bit buggered... so I cannot ride the Pan... I have someone interested in it, so might let it go... hate to see it just sitting there, it is a riders motorcycle... and to that end, I am seriously looking at a Recluse clutch for Darla... that would help a lot, with the cruise control and the foot brake, it would make my hours in the saddle much more comfortable.

My first thought was to suggest to use the other hand, but then you would complain about pulling the clutch lever. No hope left for you.

I ordered the Rekluse clutch… And will have it installed by Robin before I go to pick it up in the middle of June… It doesn’t appear that my wrist is getting any better… And I have a motorcycle I want to ride...

I thought it was the throttle you were having a problem with.

Both wrists & forearms... screwed them up 25+ years ago... truck driving... when I was at its worst I couldn’t even tie my own shoes or cut my own meat… It’s gotten somewhat better over the years, but I have to be careful… So a Rekluse clutch & cruise control makes a lot of sense for me… Especially taking in account I’m pushing 70, and do not want to give up motorcycling... U do whatcha gotta do.
