Four Mountain passes of the following... got as far as Osoyoos, 4/5 hours tomorrow, two more passes, and looks like the same **** show again...

A good test for the Jeep and the walnut dipped Toyo’s... dialled in the “Snow” option and put it in Manual shift mode and plunked her down into 4th, and peddled her up the hill at about 50 MPH @ 3,000 rpm... ran like a trooper... passed everything that got in the way.

Snowing steady all the way... Jeep & Toyos, my faithful servants, doing their work... now up and over the last
two passes...

Even the Valley Bottoms are winterish

Top of Sunday Summit... snowing pretty good, but even the Big Dogs aren’t wearing the Jewlery, so Traction is good both up and downhill... now down into the twisty’s and over Whipsaw Creek, then up into Maning Park.

Damn... gonna have to chase him down and up the other side.

Those Toyo tires with the walnut shells are great. Had them on a little car when we lived in Cranbrook. Daughter drove to school after an ice storm with no problem down our steep and long driveway. My wife and I left later in the F250 4x4. Got to the top of the driveway and immediately lost all traction came out of the driveway like a meteor.

the road was decent between the two brake checks, then this...

Top of Allison Pass... and it turned into a gong show... the temperature was right around zero and snowing hard in spots... all the Big Dogs had the Jewlery on... and those that didn’t where spun out and hanging the Iron... the snow was very pushy, and even the Jeep was feeling it...

... this is about 30 miles further, and the chain sign was lite up... the bit you can see turned wicked just a few miles later.

After this it was raining hard, but good roads all the way to Langley... here for a week, then back home and to work.

Why the black soot in the area around your driver’s side tailpipe?

Just looks like the black bumper showing through the snow, to me.
