Don and I ran over to Yahk for lunch yesterday. Yahk is about 45 minutes west of Cranbrook. This place has great food and usually a bike or two out front.

North of Cranbrook about 20 minutes is Maryville. This restaurant is made out of containers. Great food and coffee.

I came home the back way. Lots of Autum colours both today and yesterday.

Glad to see your out and about.
I just got back from a short four day trip in the Texas Hill country. I'll make a post soon. I still have to post my Montana trip, probably this winter. Keep the rubber side down.

Hmmm, there wouldn't happen to be a gas station/carwash kitty corner from that coffee shop would there? I don't think it was quite finished yet,was trying to figure out what they were doing there. Took a break from a rainstorm there back in August on my quick trip home from Calgary, hopefully I can spend more time there next summer...

BTW-great shots from your travels, been on some of the same roads, but my pics suck!

Yup, that's the place. They did a really nice job on it. Even has a roof top deck.

"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more"

Yes, tomorrow morning Darla shall ride again.

We leave for Indio, California for Desert Trip. Down through Montana; over the Lolo pass towards Rattle snake pass and south through Enterprise and the Snake River canyon. Then towards and deep into Nevada.

"I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot"

(With apologies to William Shakespeare)

What, no snow? This should be an interesting time of year to ride the passes. Have fun! You are one lucky SOB!

The passes should be good for another month or so. As long as the weather doesn't turn cold. I am a SOB, as to lucky, well that is weather dependent, isn't it.....
