A nice short ride today.... worked until 12:30 then headed west.... by work I mean, I sat around had breakfast packed up the bike and I answered the phone a couple of times. So I locked up early jumped on the bike and headed west. I stopped a couple of times on the way and ended up in Grand forks. Darla ran like a charm, and I really like the new tires. More on that when I get settled in at Adrienne’s and have some time. Got a motel that I am tying into for the night. I only got a couple of good pictures today and it appears they’re all lakes. Subconsciously I must’ve wanted to go for a swim as it was a pretty warm day today.
Moye lake. This is only about 20 minutes west of Cranbrook. It’s a double lake with quite a bit of recreational property on it.
This is the small lake at the top of the Kootenay pass. Met a biker up on the parking lot, and a young lad in a car that broke down. More on that story later in the week
Christina lake. Probably the nicest lake in south east British Columbia.
Outstanding Rocky... took a rip up to Panorama on Wednesday... that was an enjoyable ride... good to follow Toby Creek... but it was frickin hot out there.
