......
So here I am on the 101 heading south out of Aberdeen..... I don’t expect to see many bikes, it’s early here still, Mid week, and looks like it will rain any moment , and I was not disappointed.... only saw a dozen or so..... anyway, two bikes pass me coming the other way, and I give my usual wave..... a couple of minutes later one of them pulls up beside me and waves me over.... I think, “Crap, is stuff falling off?”.... he pulls his scarf down and F**K if it ain’t Mark! He is one of my closest buddies, worked at the Harley shop in Cranny and sold me all three of my HD’s.... now living in Victoria and works at the HD shop there.... big Biker Hugs, laughing like bastards..... crazy ****!
Dallas & Mark on Hwy 101.... whoda thunk it

A Very interesting day indeed. It started out kind of gloomy, but then the weather turns nice and by the time I got to Astoria the sun was out for just about the rest of the day. But it was cool, I had my vest on and my grips turned up for most of the day. I got some really good pictures, and spent a bit of time on the old 101 as you’ll see. That was crazy running into Mark and Dallas on the 101 just south of Aberdeen. And I got a chance to chat with a few other people also. My goal was to get as far as Tillamook, but I ended up all the way south in Florence. The roads were good , Bumpy in a few spots , once it got a bit south the traffic thined out quite nicely.
Now for some Picts....

Not batch loading at all well....
The Astoria bridge, and you can’t even see most of it....
.... I had a chance to talk with Staff Sergeant Matt Greenwood. He owns two Harleys, a sportster and a decker, we talked about tires and trips And just the enjoyment of riding motorcycle. Thank you for your service Staff Sergeant....
... Beautiful views all day long.

The weather said it was going to be windy, as you saw in The previous photographs, they were not lying. I got as far as Coos bay before my first stop and went to McDonald’s for a cuppa coffee and a couple of Egg McMuffin‘s. Five bucks, that’s a pretty cheap breakfast when you’re on the road. Kept on peddling south and Went through several construction zones. Road can be bumpy in different spots, so you got to pay attention to what you’re doing. Stopped in some different spots for some nice pictures so Let’s have a look at them.
