Will do , I'll check with the other guys and see what the plan is . There is another from Kelowna that will be joining us and is planning on taking us on a tour of the area , but I'm pretty sure the two of us will have a the first day there without him so anything is possible .
Still trying to convince my buddy to run up to Jasper for a few days after our trip to Nelson , I want to see Mt.Robson , sooner than later .

What a great ride today. I left Cranbrook and it rained a little bit on the way to Creston, I stop there for just a moment to take some pictures, and then headed up and over the Kooteney Pass. I crossed into the states at Nelway, they asked me a whole bunch of questions as that is one of their training ports of entry. Once I got across the border, I went to *Metaline Falls* and had breakfast. Fuelled up and headed down to Tiger, then hit 20 and headed west. 20 is a great road and something that should not be missed. Lots of twisties as you had west out of tiger, and then a bunch of sweepers. There’s a mountain pass in there that caps out at about 5700 feet, it was actually snowing a bit up there today. I stopped a couple of times for a quick break and once to put on my rain gear, but I actually never really needed it even though it look like I was really going to.
Once I got down onto the lower elevation, I stepped out of the raingear and proceeded on my way to Omak. Tied into the motel and went out for Mexican food which was right next-door. Here’s some pictures ....

Looking north on the Creston flats up towards Crawford Bay and the ferry ....
.... The small lake at the top of the Kootenay pass ....
... As you can see it was cold up there. By this time I had on my down jacket and my electric vest was on full. The heated grips helped a lot also.

Sorry, not enough speed to batch load ...
Once you turn west at Tiger on to 20 this happens almost right away ....
.... and that turns into this ....
...And then that turns into this, beautiful long straight stretches of road with lots of high-speed sweepers and tight turns. What I like most about 20 is that it is an old-school type road, the trees are close to the road and they haven’t compromised by making the corners easier to go around
