So the Pan is up on the lift at the Shop. Robin is going to start work when a few parts are in.... this years work includes new Clutch, throttle and brake cables (the old ones go into the saddle bags as spares in-case the new ones calve).... a trumpet horn... dual spots, and few few other bits and pieces. She should be good to go by March. He has a Shovel on one of the other stands he is doing some work on also. I am hoping to get out this weekend for a short ride on Darla, but that is weather dependent.
a few more bits then it is summer ready... I am also starting to think about Sturgis in '020 and what I will want done for that.... probably paint the rear fender next winter..... maybe even take the headers off and get them chromed because of where Robin did the welding from the flange to the header pipe to make it work..... I am going to get an emblem sewn on the back of the Bag that will say "Yes, I rode it here.."

Howdy Neighbor. Great thread Rocky, I think it took me a week to get through it reading every post. Heck of journey so far! Last year was my first year making a few long bike journeys myself, certainly aspire to get to your level of road tripery(ya, thats a word). I'm very similar as I like to ride alone and keep my own pace, although I don't mind company from time to time. I'm planning a big ride this spring, looking at options, and then the weather forcast will dictate the direction when the time comes. Thats generally how I travel, follow the sunshine. Looking forward to following more of your journeys. Ride Safe!

I thought for my 5,000 post I would go back and find one of my favorites.... I chose this one. It represents when i am at my happiest.... on a Motorcycle, by myself, in the middle of nowhere, on a twisty piece of road.
Up on the Alcan, summer of '017, on the Liard River, just North of Muncho lake.... and heading into the Rocky Mountains.
