I came straight to the Irma Hotel ... the place Buffalo Bill built and named after his daughter. Apparently around 6 Tonight there will be people shooting at each other on the street.
I am going to come back, after all, I have same knife in my pocket that I took to the last gunfight I walked into.....
So.... I punched into the Nav from where I was this morning to Cody. It was a good route but Darla decided she wanted to Run With the Big Dogs, and put us on the Slab for a bit. Ok, she can have her way this time .... so once we got on I let her "Air Out". It is amazing how fast the 60 miles goes by when your running 100/110. As well as how fast the gas disappears. I was always concerned about how the bike top and back end loaded would handle. It's fine.....
But I found out two things that are shortcomings. One is the stereo is not loud enough up there, and for those that have never been on the Interstates in the west, there are big rollers. She could not maintain the speed on the way up, but downhill, no issues.
Cody (drinks with Wild Bill), Chief Joseph pass (never been East/West), Beartooth pass (been a while since I have gone West East), Little Belt Mountains (always a nice ride) and Road to the Sun (also been a while since I have gone East West).
Not a bad way to wrap this little jaunt up. It will be a fun 3 days.
The above mentioned is some of the best riding in the USA. Take a lot of pics for us. It's been many years since I've been on some of those.
