Travel size Tool Kit advice needed

You mentioned a swing arm bag, but if you had hard saddle bags I can highly recommend the 4 Piece Pouch set from Innovative Storage Solutions.
You can dang near fit a complete tool assortment in these bags and they don't really take up valuable storage space in the saddle bags.
Only problem I have is remembering which bag everything is in...
They sell the bags with all the tools, but I made my own tool bags.

The more I look into the contents inside these kits, the more I'm thinking of making my own now! I just don't want to break up my complete tools sets from the garage.
I figured to take a list based on the sample kit Mxdad spelled out for me above, go to Harbor Freight, price out all the items individually and see if it pays off to make my own or get that one for $46 shipped and add more items to it.
I also thought that since the friends who ride with me have a mixture of bikes, I should keep SAE and Metric size tools in the event I need to help someone.
What do you guys think of this modified list below, should this cover the basics and fit into a 3" wide Swingarm bag with some space left or am I missing something?
SAE: 9/16", 5/8", 7/16", 3/8", 1/2" combo wrenches and Sockets
Metric: 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17mm combo wrenches and Sockets
6" adjustable wrench
Locking Pliers
Needle nose Pliers
Torx key set for SAE and Metric
Hex key set for SAE and Metric
6-in-1 screwdriver with bits
Mini ratchet
2" ratchet extension
Electrical tape roll
Electrical wire, 12awg, 20'
Threadlocker
Tire pressure gauge
Duct Tape
Long and short Zip ties
Pocket knife
First aid kit

I think you should stick with the sizes of wrenches, sockets, and hex and torx as listed by mxdad. There is no SAE and Metric torx. Your other additions sound ok. I carry a flashlight as well. I have used zip ties and a small bungie when I had two shift linkage failures.

What? How can this be? You mean there is not a T25 security Torx of some sort in each trans-system?! J/K! I was so focused on socket and hex tools in both that I thru the Torx into the mix! Thanks for catching it, knowing my memory, I would be looking for them as well.
Yup, Flash light, Bungee cords, microfiber rag, even a 10,000mah cell phone battery charger, solid fence wire, 10' section, extra pair of goggles.
What else am I missing?

For 300mi trips I wouldn't worry, but I live in CT so I am never far from population at 300mi. The little Harley tool that comes with bike is fine for what you described you may need. I also carry an adjustable wrench and a good muti tool and never leave home without my AmEx card. The stuff and cam straps fit into one of my lowers storage with a seat rain cover.
