Dallas area to St Louis route

Depending on how much time you have - here's one route:
Go to Talihina, OK. Take 1 (Talimena Scenic Drive) east), to 88 to 270 into Hot Springs, AR. 7 North to either Harrison (stay at the Seville there) or to 123 east to 65 north to 412 east to 5 north. 5 north to 160 east, to 19 north to 32 east to 21 north then into St. Louis.
Will make sense if you look on the map. I think Harrison is about half way and the Seville Hotel there gives discounts to bikers, it is an historic hotel in the downtown of Harrison, restaurant and bar on site. That's my two cents.

I second Talemina Skyway...
Paris, TX has a awesome Burger Joint downtown..
I always stay in Mena first night and then travel up to Eureka SPrings for a couple of days..

If you do decide to do the Talimena Highway make sure you ride Indian Highway as well. Pick up 144 off 259 North of Broken Bow to Honobia and continue on to 271 South of Talihina.
DFW to Broken Bow is a nice ride albeit only 170 miles or so. If you stay in Broken Bow do the Dam loop at Broken Bow Lake.

I have done the above route and also have taken 377 up and rode through Tishomingo, the east through Atoka, Antlers, etc. Arkansas has some amazing rides as well as southern Missouri. OKlahoma roads are usually a little rough. I would avoid 65 In Missouri and jump over on 160 to 5 or run up through Bradleyville. 23 in Arkansas is an awesome ride especially north out of Ozark.
