Cike, sounds like that Allstate lady was a dope. Bike towing and roadside service shouldn't cost more than $7-10 dollars - including meals and hotel costs while your stuck out in BFE and your bike is getting repaired.

Thanks everyone, I went ahead and just bought the AAA +RV plan. It only ended up being $145 including a one time new member fee of $20.
Now I can get back figuring out where I'm riding to this summer

Not true...we have multiple bike trailers and real close friends and brothers who ride, when someone in the group needs help, someone grabs a trailer and helps them out. Unfortunately, the beer and chow you have to buy probably costs more than the tow...LOL.
Ride safe and breakdown free!
Just looked it up and Mass AAA plus motorcycle coverage with up to 100 mile tows is $30 and premier with tows up to 200 miles is $60

I have had the HOG premium plan $49 for years. never had to use it . However even now if I used it once I would be ahead of the game.
Covers both my bikes and no BS with them. Nice to know it is there on a 3-5000 mile trip just incase. Heck Motel room can cost you $100-$200 a night now days.

Good luck with that HOG coverage, I have had to use AAA multiple times over the last couple of years, I had both hog and aaa and called both. The last one aaa picked me up in BFE Mo and took me to Jonesboro AR (just over 100 miles). I was checked into the hotel asleep when hog called back to tell me they were still working on the tow.

You need Aaa RV , which is the most expensive. You should also know how to tie down your bike, never had a driver that knew what they were doing. Aaa covers anything you are riding or driving.

AAA does not always cover motorcycles. In CT they do not.

Glad you chose AAA and not HOG. HOG roadside assistance was of no help to me when i broke down last summer. Said they could not find anyone to tow me in Charlotte,NC! BS!
