My wife and I actually did this last Thursday. We have a RoadGlide with the Tourpack, and it was fully loaded. The ride wasn't TOO bad, the dirt part was well maintained, but I don't think I'd do it again. The asphault part was almost as bad with the potholes and frost heaves. The view was spectacular, though. It's probably worth it once if you're not scared of heights, dirt, hairpin turns and no guardrail.
