Default Barber Vintage Festival

Rode down last week and met some friends there for the festival. Barber Motorsports Park is a beautiful place and the museum there is breath taking! The event was outstanding with over 69000 in attendance! Anyway, here are a few pictures.......

Neighbor of mine took a 20ft flatbed trailer loaded with old bikes down to the swapmeet there. Haven't talked to him since he returned to see what if any he unloaded. I had no idea that meet was this big!

I went for the first time this year, spent Saturday and Sunday. It was a great event. All kind of vintage racing from the spectacular road course to trails and motocross. Lots of good vendors and the swap meet was huge. Not sure how many vendors in the swap meet area but you could spend a day there. Then there is the museum which can easily be a trip of its own as you can spend the better part of the day there. I also spent a lot of time in the paddock area just walking around drooling over all the vintage race bikes. No autos allowed in the park during the event but bikes are allowed everywhere with lots of easy parking all over for bikes. All in all it was a really good run event and a lot of fun for anyone into bikes. I will definitely be back next year

Barbers Vintage weekend is 1 of my favorite events. It offers something everyone -from the new to bikes folks to the - been riding for 40 years crowd, dirt, street, competition etc. The museum is very good but, the vintage weekend has thousands of old restores machines of every make, parked /ridden around outside along the perimeter road.

Default Great Place

Go to Barbers every chance I get, first time to vintage, picked up slightly used tool box for the 96 FX softtail, twenty bucks, with just right amount of wear.
