What do you think?
I have been on most of these roads before, but looking for your input or other ideas. I take a summer trip every year for around a week, but meaning I have two little ones at home I cut it down a couple days.
Day 1:
Leaving Northwest Iowa and taking Interstate 90 to Gillette and staying the night. I always like the drive when I start to see the Black Hills.
Day 2:
I am going to Sheridan and over to Cody via the Big Horn Mountains. Just love Highway 14. From Cody I am going to Cooke City through Chief Joseph and than over to Red Lodge via the Beartooth. This will be my favorite day. I will be staying somewhere in Laurel I am thinking.
Day 3: Stopping at Billings Harley Davidson and stopping at the battlefield off of 212. Taking this road east to Hullet and dropping down to Sundance for the night. I have never been on 212. I am thinking there is not much there.
Day 4: From Sundance I will be going through the Black Hills and staying in Deadwood for the night.
Day 5: Riding through the Hills and stopping in Murdo on my way home.
Day 6: Back home
Thanks for your inputs

Great routes. Highway 14A is a great ride. Fly fishing on the North Tongue River is great. If you haven't been there, don't miss the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody.
The battlefield is a very interesting place and worth a few hours of your time.
212 is a pretty open area and not a lot to see but grassland, but it is nicer than the interstate.
