WV/VA Route 33
I just finished an overnight trip into VA and WV, traveling the roads that took me through Seneca Rocks, Elkins, and Harrisonburg. My main intent was to ride Route 33 based on several WV riders on HDForums saying they liked it (Thanks!). Here is my video of Route 33 between Franklin, WV and Harrisonburg, VA.

Thanks for posting your video, that section of 33 is nice. Actually all those east/west roads crossing the ridges between WV and into VA are nice; starting from the north 50, 33, 250, and 39. Just crossing over and back on them makes a nice ride. Lots of other little roads through there as well.

I must have driven back and forth across this road well over 100 times in the 60s and 70s from Alexandria, VA
to go caving in West Virginia .. I swear I recognize every turn The last few seconds of the video show a long
straight section with undulations.. it has been rumored that a dark green Mitsubishi Eclipse 4wd turbo once
got serious air on a couple of those... not that I know anything personally, of course..

A few years back Rt. 33 was voted one of the 15 best roads in the country. I don't think it is, but still, it's a nice road. Now head south and run Rt. 16 between Marion and Tazewell. This, I think is the best road in Virginia.
