Mesquite or St. George

IMO, St. George is a nicer area. As I recall that Harley dealer in St. George is out away from town and they may let you park there, or be a good source for something else.
edit: Another idea is a storage business that has parking for campers/boats. Their minimum charge may be OK with you for the peace of mind that your rig is at least in an enclosed area. On a totally unrelated note, as a Canadian I thought you'd enjoy this:

I would also choose St George. Call the see what they might have to offer as far as information about what you need and how they might be of assistance. Might also try a storage facility ie RV and such.

Another vote for St. George. I'm not a big fan of Mesquite. Nice place to gamble and party maybe, but St. George is a nicer area. HD shop there has a huge parking lot and they might let you park there for 10 days. Some Walmarts will too, and they have good lighting, security cameras, etc.

In 1998, I was on a long ride through the southwest. When returning through Las Vegas, I started feeling ill and didn't think it was a good idea for me to ride the 600 miles back to San Francisco. The bike was nearing the need for a 10,000 mile servicing. So I took it to the Harley dealer in Las Vegas and explained the situation to them. They let me leave the bike there and performed a 10,000 mile servicing. A few weeks later then I felt better I flew back to Las Vegas and picked up the bike and had a lovely ride back to San Francisco.
So perhaps you can sweeten the deal and persuade the Zion Harley-Davidson Shop (2345 N Coral Canyon Blvd., Washington, UT, USA 84780-2090, 435-673-5100) to do something similar.
