I'm in the very early stages of planning a long trip on my RG. South Florida to NY and then CA is all I have so far. I need to fill in the blanks. Just looking on the map 75 north to 81 all the way into NY looks interesting and an alternate to 95. It also looks as though there may be some interesting places to branch off and explore.

Any comments on this route or places of interest along the route would be appreciated. No time schedule involved.

If you take 75 northI would reconmend youget off before Knoxville and go thru the Great Smokey Mountains then pick up the Blue Ridge Parkway on up to Waynsburo Va.Pick up81 or take the Skyline drive up through the Shenandoah to Warren Va. then jump on over to 81
I useMicrosoft Streets and Trips when planning and it works out great, you can figure milage and even shows places to eat and lodge.
