Default So What’s The Word On This New Engine Is It A Keeper Or A Dud ?

Do you own bike with this engine in it ?
Is it a well built engine or a piece of crap that should disappeared with the Harley Street .

Yes. I bought a Fastback Red one a few days ago. After riding a 48 and then a Sportster S, I can say this engine is a keeper. It can be quick or mellow, depending on which riding mode you choose. It is very light, but feels solid.
The exhaust note is low, but it has these really cool decel pops, which I like. when you sit on one, it feels almost exactly like an Evo, until you get going. It is very smooth, but pull hard, even off idle. I rode a Street 500, and there is no comparison.

We call it The Ant.

This thread is now one month old and it only got one response . This is not a good sign at all . Totally bad !

would be the end of Harley Davidson as we know it..the appeal and allure of these crude antiquated dinosaurs is what makes them different and special..otherwise might as well buy a less expensive brand ..my wife and I would probably have at least a hundred grand more in retirement fund if we'd have owned Hondas the last couple decades..

yup, not if but when..these current ones won't be able to keep up with the ongoing tightening EPA regulations
