Default RE: Interstate boots

I had a pair, they were comfortable on the bike, not so much walking around, but acceptable. The zippers fouled within a year and I had to get them fixed, also, if I wore thick socks they would catch going over my ankles. After about a year and a half the padding inside the heel started wearing out. I wouldn't buy them again.
My wife has a pair of HD lace up ankle high shoes (chukas?) that she bought at the same time that she wears a lot for six or seven years now with now problems. I don't think all their boots are bad (they're made by Wolverine, and they've been around forever) but that model didn't work out so good.
