ALL RIGHT, I,m on it. Dialing the number as I type (multi tasking ya know). Thank you very much for the detective work. I will buy a few of them and Keep extras in the bike so when I meet people I will say "hey you need one of these". Spread them around kinda like Johnny Throttle Seed.

Got the Throttle Mate ups today. I purchased the Friction wheel, spring, and c-clip plus the friction shoe from the local Stealer. With some extra work it can be made to function on the ultra. OK so you ask why put it on the ultra? Some times ya just wanna scratch something but not set the cruise control. This lets you briefly hold the throttle locked to scratch/adjust or shake the kinks out of your hand. I did need to chuck up the **** on a lathe to very carefully cut it down to fit in the space available. A little careful filing on the throttle mate and shortening the set screw also got it to fit. Ugly job but sometimes ya just gotta do it.
For you people that do not need to deal with cruise control fit is not an issue. This is a real trick little gizzmo that no Harley should be without.

Joe

PS

This will not work very well if you have after market heated grips. The wire loop that allows the throttle to twist without binding gets in the way. At some point I will reengineer the throttle mate size to work with the grips. For now call me "Frosty Digits".

If you are interested (560 hits last count so I guess so) these folks just put up a web site. www.throttlemate.com. Looks like they offer it for metrics as well.
I love gadgets.

Hi Joe; My business card has a # of 505-623-2553-bus. and 505-622-2323 home. I love mine, just adjust it once and forget it, it makes putting on the throttle lock ultra easy and does it instantly----aerovest jack

I just revisited this post. There are over 1080 hits on this topic. How many of you actually got one and what do you think?

Just got mine in the mail. Great little gizmo. The owner's a real friendly guy too. Always nice to do business with good people.

Had mine for several weeks now. Love it, works great and it's nice to help loosen that grip of death.

I t is just a extened lever that attaches to your friction thumb screw on the throttle (which is incredibly difficutl to get right).
the lock allows you to release your grip on the throttle and shake of the cramps or numbness or what ever discomfort you me be experiencing. Sort of like manual cruise control.
