Default Kudos to Dennis Kirk

I know some of the members here have had issues with Dennis Kirk in the past but I have to give them props for my latest order.

Ordered a set of handlebars and shocks. Well, when the box arrived and I opened it, there was a box inside of a box. Looked like UPS screwed up somewhere and busted the DK box then repacked it. Anyway, the handlebars were there but the shocks were not. Called Dennis Kirk and explained the situation and they had another set of shocks shipped out the next day. All I had to do was hold onto the box and they sent UPS out to pick it up for their investigation.

Got the shocks in a week later and all is well now.

The other good thing I want to say about DK is that they don't overcharge on shipping out to Hawaii. That's why if I order online, it's always from them.

So, say what you will, I'll continue to buy from Dennis Kirk as long as they provide this kind of service.

I have never had a problem with Dennis Kirk either. Seem to have better prices on many of the items I have purchased.

I've had excellent service from Dennis Kirk to New Zealand too. A lot of US shops won't ship international so it was great to find a well priced, reliable vendor.

Dennis Kirk ships???????

Just kidding. I live about 40 miles from their warehouse and it a nice ride up there if it's something I can carry on the bike. Only down side is having to pay the MN Sales Tax.

Thumbs down

I've been to their warehouse several times, but had to stop all that and go elsewhere. The only complaint I have with them is they ask to many questions. If you go there with cash they still want to know all your personal info with details and numbers and won't sell to you unless you give them everything they want. I prefer to walk in, lay my money down and walk out with whatever I bought. I do not like being scrutinized and recorded by the gestapo when I make a purchase. Having to show proper ID to make a purchase feels evil to me.

I have been using Dennis Kirk for years, I have never had an issue with them, always have shipped fast, and their prices are usually the best. I guess the only complaint I would have is they ship using UPS, LOL.
