Factory "frenched"/hooded headlight trim ring
Hey guys,
Today I installed the headlight trim ring that you can get at the dealer, (mine was for a DYNA, but the others SHOULD be the same...) that gives your headlight the "frenched" or hooded look. Cost is $30 bucks, and the quality is of course excellent. Very easy to do. Just need a small to medium phillips screwdriver, and PATIENCE!!!! When removing the old one, you have to rotate the ring so that the split part is up on top, and then you can carefully pull/peel it off. The new one just goes right on, and has a rubber gasket that is inside of it to make it a tight and professional fit. Definitely recommend, and makes the whole front of the bike look better!
P.S. The package says "Multi-Fit" so as long as your headlight diameter is the same, it SHOULD work. I believe they offer them in other sizes for the other bikes as well....
