U-Haul Trailors.............
Anyone ever rent one of these U-Haul Bike Trailors? The web sits says the vehicle speed recommendation is 45 mph.
I wonder how the trailor would work on the highway at 65 mph. Those tires look pretty small. I'll bet they start wobbeling at higher speeds but that's only a guess.

RE: U-Haul Trailors.............
I have used them for several moves and when it comes to trucks or trailers I would stay as far away from uhaul as I could. Your website picture looks nice, but when you go to pick up your trailer it's just as likely to have problems such as worn bearings, bad tires and weak spots in the floor. Their idea of preventative maintenence is to let the next poor SOB down the line worry about it. Once a tire blows or wheel bearing goes out, you MIGHT get someone to come out to the side of the road and work on it. And keep in mind how most people treat anything rented--do you really want to trust your expensive bike to a mistreated rental trailer?

RE: U-Haul Trailors.............
I'm with Weasel, I rented a covered trailer and pulled it with my full size Chevy PU, went from Pittsburgh to Chicago and that thing was all over the place, it was really scarry at highway speeds, that's probably why they say "speeds up to 45mph". Have you tried a local tool rental?

RE: U-Haul Trailors.............
Ive rented 5 trailers over the last 3 years and they have all pulled good. Biggest problem with pulling trailers is load weight dispersment and weight limits. Dont max these trailers go up in size and stay a good bit below max. They will pull at good spped alot better if they are not maxed out
