Default Headphones for use with a 1/2 helmet

Does anyone know of good headphones that are useable with a 1/2 helmet?

Cheers!

Clammy, I would imagine anything that comes in an "ear bud" style. JMO

That's my thinking as well, but there is a LOT of wind noise at highway speed, so I was wondering if anyone knew of ones that would also block out some of that noise so the volume wouldn;t have to be cranked, wrecking my hearing (worse than it already is!).

Cheers!

Clammy, At a rally a couple of years ago, I picked up some soft plastic deals that fit over the ear bud type earphones and conform to your ear. They block some of the wind noise but you can still hear traffic. Unfortunately, I've swabbed the internet and can't find them. If I do, I'll let you know. Pat

Bang & Olufsen makes a set. They work well. A little expensive though.

Now THESE are expensive. The ones I'm looking at are the E3 model. They go for $200.00 Canadian at a local music store. They are for use as in-ear monitors, so they should fit the bill perfectly.

Cheers!

Clammy,

J&M Products makes motorcycles radios and stuff like that. They have an excellent headphone set for half helmets.

Clammy,
Terry is correct. J & M makes quality stuff. As long a your half helmet has "ear skirts" something good will be available. The people I normally use is Sierra electronics. They are on the web and will answer your questions on the phone as well. They have more that just J & M. They have helped me equip 3 bikes now with tunes and head sets that work. Some of the bikes (Ducati) required brain power on their part.

You might also look at Cyclegadgets.com for holders of things like mp3 players or the ever lovable I-pod.
