I finally found an affordable holder for my HTC Droid Eris.

Michaels Stainless Innovations custom makes handlebar mount holders for most electronic devices like ipods, iphones, smart phones, and mp3 players.

I sent them the dimensions for my Eris and after he confirmed that he could make it I ordered one. With shipping to my door, $36.98. He sent it first class mail and he packages well to avoid damage.

I installed it in less than a minute and it looks great. It's available in a satin stainless finish that I ordered and a polished stainless that looks as good as chrome. His product is simple and not over designed.
