Langlitz jacket: spent a fortune, got my money's worth

You know, I often stare at the $1,500 hard bags I bought for my RKC and think, "$1,500 for these?"...now don't get me wrong, I love the bags, but they are SO not worth $1,500.
I think I will be taking the Langlitz route as well. The best FITTING jacket I ever had was the first "generic" brand I owned, but it started falling apart in less than 12 months. I just can't get the right fit in a Vanson or Fox Creek, so after dumping a bunch of money on standard sized leathers, I too think it's time for a custom made set of leathers.
The other thing people don't talk about is the resale value of a Langlitz. Keep and eye on eBay and you'd be surprised just how much money you can get out of one if you want/need to get out of it.
To each his/her own of course...
