Cool. I have the Chinook FX also with the transition lenses. Just so you know, they don't get really dark, so riding into the sun is a bit on the blinding side - I have to tilt my head down so the front edge of my lid acts like a visor. Otherwise, they're ok for daytime riding.

Cheers!

ive got a few sets of panoptx and love them all, not ever any problems what so ever... something i had done was take them where i bought them and adjust them to my face- i never need anything to hold them on and they never make my eyes water. but i do live in caly and i rarely see much humidity.

I also gave up on Panoptx glasses. The foam is completely rotted off . When the glasses had foam, they'd fog up a lot. Now, without foam they don't. But they still cost way too much for what you get. The case was the best thing about the glasses and I still use it for my el cheapos. The Panoptx didn't seem to do any better than a good close fitting pair of Raybans or the equivalent. Also, I've seen better foam on cheaper glasses.

I was looking at the Panoptx for Rx, but now I'm going with the Cocoons that I just saw on another post from CROWDOG:

excerps from crowdog:
Friend of mine, who is a big fisherman, told me to check out Cocoons made by Live Eye Wear. He said they were made for fishermen and their high speed bass boats (his is like 70+ mph,) He said worked great for him why wouldn't they work on a motorcycle?

I went to Pro Bass Shop a few days ago and picked up a pair, at $39.95 + tax I figured was worth a shot.

They work ab-so-lute-ly great!

Polarized, UV 400 rated, flex frames to let you shape them to your head. Actually look pretty good!

Ran the bike up to 95 mph and the wind might want to rip me off my bike but my eyes were just fine!

On a 1-10 rating I will give them a 9 1/2 (nothins perfect ) but I could not be happier with them.

Check them out at: www.liveeyewear.com

I was thinking about these but the Wiley-X SG-1's are cheaper and have good reviews. Did you ever pick those up Clammy? What do you think of them?

Yup, I use the SG-1s now. They're great. I use the strap, so they're more like goggles. Very comfortable, and they don't fog too badly when stopped, or at all when moving. I do use Fogtech on the lenses and that stuff is amazing!

Cheers!
