Default Mr Clean Autodry Car/Motorcycle Wash

OK I posted this info int the Touring Bike Section but I thought more people might see it here.

The Mr. Clean Autodry and the Mr. Clean Autodry Pro are the best two motorcycle washing products I've ever used. All you have to do is rinse the bike with the M.C. then soap the bike then a mit and scrub the grime off. Then rinse with regular water and then spray with spotless rinse. Go grab a beer and a cigarette and in about 20-30 minutes you are ready to ride on a spotless machine. I was skepticle when I saw the commercials but it reeeeeeeeally works. The controls on the M.C. Autodry has 3 sittings-rinse (normal water), soap and spotless rinse. The Pro Series has 4 sittings-rinse (normal water), a second rinse (5 x stronger than normal rinse), soap and spotless rinse.

Cost Approx.
Autodry-Around $20.00
Pro Series-Around $32.00

Money Well Spent

I, too, have had good results with the Autodry system. There is a caveat, though. If you have hard water to begin with (we certainly do), make sure that you completely cover the bike with the spotless rinse, otherwise it will leave spots in some areas, but not others. It's really just a matter of making sure you cover everything.

Even when using the autodry system, I still tend to use my leafblower to blow the bike dry. That lets me wax it quickly, so that I can make the whole process as seamless as possible.

I gave the Mr Clean a try this weekend. Its GREAT, I had no water spots on the chrome, I still dried the bike with a towel , but did not have to worry about getting it before it dried on its own or about missing a spot.

Great product !

Tried this also last weekend. Worked great on my fiance's bike. Not a spot! Of course I didn't have the attachment tight on the hose initially and spayed water all over my bike....DOH!!!! Was worth the investment. Still have the leafblower if I want a fast dry.

I also have one and I love it (it's awsome). When they say use MC soap only they mean it.I used Mcguires because I ran out of the MC and my ride spotted bad.So stick with the MC soap and you'll be good to go.

I have to chime in here, I was given one as a gift, used it last weekend on my car and I thought it worked horribly! Maybe I got a bad one since lal of you rave about it. For one thing, the spot free side barely, I mean barely worked at all.

You had to have gotten a bad one. Did you use the Mr. Clean soap? If you try anyother it will not work properly. I wash my bike once or twice a week with mine and people just rave at how nice it looks. Never take a rag to it to dry.
