I am considering the installation of an HD hydraulic clutch on my new Heritage. Has anyone experienced one or know anything about it?

If you're looking for an easier pull, it's about $600 - $700 cheaper to add an EZ Pull in the clutch cover.

RE: Hydraulic Clutch
I'm seriously considering one of these for my Road King Classic. So if that's what you want...then go for it. You won't be disappointed. I hate the way the clutch feels at the moment. It's correctly adjusted but somethings just not quite right. So I'll be be fitting a hydraulic clutch soon. The HD cable is huge and looks like when they designed the bike they gave the cable no thought at all....it looks ugly. So a nice braided pipe that's tidy as it goes down the frame is the way to go for me. The action will be a hell of a lot smoother too. Also it will make both sides of the handlebars look even.

I think it will truly add life to the clutch pak
Same clutch=121,000 miles.
In my humble opinion, ain't no frickin' way I would waste 700 bucks on a hydraulic clutch.
I would just about bet that over 1/2 the people did not get what they though it would be=being easier to pull in[sm=forgetit.gif]
Put that 700 big ones to some other use.
Remember, this is just my opinion[8D]

RE: Hydraulic Clutch
I have tendonitis in both elbows, bad enough that I decided I needed the hydraulic clutch plus new handle bars that reduced the reach. I didn't really want to spend this kind of money on Heritage, so I ordered a new O5 Road Glide with the hydraulic clutch and extended reach handle bars. I'm finding the clutch to be much easier to pull than the stock Heritage clutch. My riding partner has an easy clutch on her Low Rider and the hydraulic works easier and has more of the normal characteristics of the stock clutch.
