Hydraulic Clutch

RE: Hydraulic Clutch
I thought about the hydraulic clutch when I bought my Ultra. I felt the one on the V-Rod and compared it to the stock Ultra, and to the hydraulic one on my Yamaha Venture. After all that I decided against it. I'm with Markcuda: I can find a whole lot of better ways to spend 600-700 bucks!

RE: Hydraulic Clutch
I have a suggestion for you and it is a lot cheaper. Go to the Harley Tech Talk site and read the reviews and comments on a thing called a VPC clutch. I put one on my 02 Ultra and the difference in the clutch effort was unbelievable. Plus, the more RPMS you feed in, the tighter it locks up. They make different models for different builds, and for my bike with 95 inches, cams and some headwork the VPC ran me 225.00 as I remember.
Shifting was much easier, neutral was spot on everytime.
I traded that bike on an 05 SEEG with the hydraulic clutch and though its nice, it is my opinion that the VPC clutch setup is smoother and less effort.
The best thing about it, it is maybe a 20 minute install and thats with an adult beverage break.
