Hey Illini,
I think they are cool also, the problem is blue or red are illegal in most states including Illinois and Missouri.

RE: Boogey Lights
Thanks for all the response. I just visited my friendly local HD dealer to check out the Electra-Glo product. He told me in the state of Missouri there were no illegal colors to use, but you cannot have them on while the bike is moving. However, he said the worst they would do is tell you to turn them off, unless you get a rectum of a cop. I am still thinking of getting a set this summer; the HD product is alot cheaper than the boogey light product. Which is better I don't know.

Yep no offence inteneded. And by-the-way, I was thinking for some reason you were talking about the lights that shine under the bike and stuff. I dont care for those much and they are illegal in the town I live in. The break lights and turn signals are cool and I'm actually looking into a break light for my ride. They are supposed to be more visible by traffic as well.

Don't have the lights that you mentioned but put the lighted passenger running boards on my heritage when I bought it. Add a nice glow to the ground when down and more visabiltity when riding. Also added the lighted emblem in the backrest. Man I am glad summer is coming.

RE: Boogey Lights
I have an 01 RoadKing that I had Boogie Lights installed on last year at Thunder Beach in Panama City. The lights look great and even the old timers like 'em. Bottom line was I LIKED 'EM. My bike, my money. I would let them install them because I've seen two bikes with electrical problems where "jobbers" had installed them. The amber and/or blue lights aren't legal in some states. Local cops told me City and State Cops would probably hassle me while the County Sheriff probably would not. I'm picky as to when and where I run them.
