Various spikes are available thru Drag, Custom Chrome &\\; others ....most have a hex shoulder on them &\\; \\;in the hardware section
Thread is 1/4-20

Get 3 , 1/4-20 X 1 inch studs, NAPA carries allen set screws that will work
Use Red Locktite &\\; screw the set screws into the Spikes 3/8-1/2 inch deep, ( depends on if you use a washer or not) &\\; \\;let it set to cure
You need at least 1/2 inch of thread left to screw into the attachment holes
Once its cured, thread into the windshield holes like normal .... no Locktite needed, do not over tighten
