I'll give you an honest opinion on the foxcreek. Just ordered one today. Should be here the first of next week. Never have seen one in person but heard about them on here and thought I would take a chance. I have tried on the HD's and liked the fit but they seemed thin. Also I think they were made over seas. Seems like for what they want for the stuff it should be American made.

My wife bought me a FoxCreek leather vest last year for my B-Day. It's the chit.
2 pockets down low up front , big interior right breast pocket and a cavernous interior left breast buttonable gun pocket.
It'll fit a 357 cal.handgun. Its well made, some of the thickest leather that I've seen.

Jonny...FoxCreek for quality... Leatherup for price. I really like my cheap laceup the side brwon leather vest from Leatherup, but you seem to want something that is step above what Leatherup provides..

Good Luck

Just got my Fox Creek vest today. It is hands down better quality and leather weight than HD IMHO. I had thought I was going with the HD vest until I started reading around on here. I think I made the right decision. I guess to I was getting tired of being a billboard for HD.

Reed Leathers, if you can find any in your area. Club I belong to uses their zippered vest exclusively.
