Default Road King Classic Bag Lock

One of the sponsors here, Got Keys?, has a link on the bottom of their home page to a company called "Inertia WRX".

They sell a locking mechanism for RKC bags. Anyone ever try them, hear of them, or have a report on them?

Or, any other solutions know?

Isn't locking leather bags like locking a convertible?

You lose your stuff and your bags (top in the case of the conv).

problem i've been struggling with in my need for storage.

When I'm on a trip, I use H-D soft touring saddle bag liners. I've seen them on E-Bay for $30-$40. I just pull them out and take them to the room at night. They're like soft luggage only made to fit inside your saddle bags.

Toad, I got the HD lock kit for the RKC, $180. A good day project, get you drill and screwdriver. It's not that bad to do. The locks are like the RK Custom, but they lock. The dealer key's it to your ignition and fork lock. So you use the one key for the whole bike. The locks are not Ft Knox, but it's not going to be as easy as the straps.

Good luck
