Default Removing Security System

I have an 07 Street Glide. I want to get rid on the front and rear turn signals so I'm guessing the security system has to go. Has anyone removed one before? I don't know if it is as simple as replacing the TSSM(turn signal security module) with a TSM(turn signal module). Anybody have any input on the matter?

Thanks!

Default RE: Removing Security System

I dont know if you have to remove alarm or not.
I had my front turn signals off while in the process of moving them to the forks I bought aftermarket levers that wouldnt work with the kit supplied with the levers. I rode for weeks with it that way and alarm worked and rear turn signals worked too.

I would take them off and see if everything still works. You can get a audible kit from harley that should (?)at least churp when you turn the alarm on or off. Check with parts man and see if it churps. That way you know if you are turning alarm on or off.
