REVIEW=Power Commander tuner
Since I had already had the "Stage 1" download, and was wanting more throttle response, more smoothness, and possible more power, I decided to "bit the bullet" and get the Power Commander III usb. This is the model that was made for my engine. The local dealer is a Dyno tech dyno facility as well, so I was able to get it custom dyno tuned at the same time. The tech that dyno'ed my bike went to the Dyno Tech school, and was fully certified and qualified for dyno tuning, so I knew my bike would be "right on" when he was done! Installation is a PAIN on Dyna's as there not alot of room under the seat, but with parience, it can fit in there nicely. The dyno tune consisted of the computer doing the tuning while the motorcycle is ridden on the dyno. The tune takes into consideration all throttle positions in every gear!! End result? I didn't pick up any extra power, but the drivability and smoothness went way up! My Air Fuel ratio is now optimal at all RPM's and loads. If you have an EFI bike running the Stage 1 with air cleaner and pipes, this is something that you should seriously consider. The cost is high, but you have a perfectly tuned mototrcycle. I also have the ability to now re-tune as more engine mods are added!!! 95 c.i.? supercharger? just have it re-dyno tuned, and you're right on!
Scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 8 if you're not going to build a killer T.C. ; If you are, then I give it a 10.

RE: REVIEW=Power Commander tuner
With the PC and a DYNO TUNE, it'll be gone, well, it'll pop and snarl when you downshift and let off the throttle, as the computer goes lean, but the throttle resposnse, drivability, and "ease of use" goes right to optimal.
Downside, this can get expensive i.e. $$$$$$$$$$\
