Hey all out there I just got finished installing a 6spd Ultima tranny on my 98 springer and the Neutral lightis on all the time except when in Neutral. This has got me baffled as I used the switch from my 5spd that worked with no trouble before the swap. Iam all ears.One point of refference is that the switch that came with the trans was a single lead type switch. My bike uses the 2 lead switch.Any ideas would be appreciated

 

i Imagine that the switch is grounding in gear not in neutral like it should be, if you had a duel wire then it would have to be one hot and one ground that groundsto the ground wire in nuetral,where a single wire would ge just a hot that grounds by the switch when it is in neutral...you just might need to use a totally differnet switch...if you cant use the factory one
